Volunteering within the City of Lake Stevens
Community Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in Volunteering for the City of Lake Stevens.  The Volunteer organization and or interested party must designate a crew leader.  There are three forms to be completed:  General Application packet, Agreement for Organizational Volunteer, and Agreement for Individual Volunteer.  The organization must complete one, and each individual that plans on participating will complete a separate agreement.  A Washington State Patrol Background check will be required for any project that includes working with vulnerable populations such as elderly or children.  Please submit forms and/or Questions to 425.377.3231 or . All forms must be approved and cleared prior to project acceptance.

Adopt a Street
Thank you for your interest in Volunteering for the City of Lake Stevens.  The Volunteer organization and or interested party must designate a crew leader.  There are a few forms to be completed:  Adopt a Street/Park Agreement, Adopt a Street Hold Harmless Waiver, and Agreement for Individual Volunteer (must be 15yrs and older to participate).  The organization must complete one, and each individual that plans on participating will complete a separate agreement.  A Washington State Patrol Background check will be required for any project that includes working with vulnerable populations such as elderly or children.  Please read over agreement, including insurance requirements.  You will need to arrange pickup of safety equipment during normal business hours with 48hrs prior notice.   Please submit forms and/or Questions to 425.377.3231 or . All forms must be approved and cleared prior to project acceptance.

Volunteer for the Police Department
The Police Department provides an opportunity for citizens to serve the community, learn and contribute to policing, and support police services by recruiting and developing a volunteer staff. The Police Volunteer supports full-time staff by providing necessary services in supporting roles in the Police Support Services, Administrative Division, crime prevention, and other patrol support functions. The mission of the Police Volunteers is to assist the Support Services staff with handing of day to day operations.
