In the Pacific Northwest, we are known for our rainfall. So when it does rain, where does it all go? That’s where Stormwater Management comes in. This division of Public Works manages all city storm and surface water so it stays outside and away from your homes.
Surface water fees go toward aquatic resource restoration, surface and storm water quality and environmental monitoring, and natural surface water drainage system planning. They’ve got a comprehensive job balancing natural resources and landscapes with our developing city.
If you notice any pollution spills or are aware of illegal discharges of pollutants within the City, call the Stormwater Management Division at 425-622-9403, or 9-1-1 outside of regular business hours.
