The City of Lake Stevens is proud to partner with the Snohomish PUD to share the news on a limited-time pilot program to help homes and businesses in Lake Stevens save energy and money. Until December 31, 2023, Lake Stevens residents and business owners can claim higher rebates on weatherization upgrades like heating, windows, and insulation at their homes or businesses. The pilot program will help the PUD to determine if targeted conservation investments can be more cost-effective than expensive infrastructure upgrades. The program will also help reduce carbon emissions in Lake Stevens.
Residential customers can receive 25% larger rebates for heating, windows and insulation. To be eligible you must:
• Have a physical Lake Stevens address.
• Have an electrically heated home.
• Work with your PUD Trade Ally to make sure your project qualifies.
Business customers can receive 50% larger rebates for non-lighting energy efficiency projects. To be eligible you must:
• Have a physical Lake Stevens address.
• All projects require PUD pre-approval before start (your contractor will work with the PUD to get this approval).
Projects must be under contract by December 31, 2023, and completed by June 30, 2024.
