Volunteer Opportunities with City Boards and Commissions

The City is seeking to fill vacancies on the Library Board and Veterans Commission.  

The Library Board works with Sno-Isle Regional Library System in providing services to the Lake Stevens citizenry and meets quarterly in January, April, July and October on the third Thursday of at 4:30 p.m.

The Veterans Commission represents the U.S. military veteran constituency in the Lake Stevens community and works to provide support and opportunities to veterans and their families within the community. 

Members of the City’s boards and commissions serve without compensation and must be city residents or reside within the urban growth area.
