Lake Stevens has a vibrant volunteer community of individuals and groups that help with projects ranging from roadside clean-up to ongoing dedication to specific sites. Check back often as opportunities are added...

Adopt-A-Community

The Adopt-A-Community, which includes the Adopt-A-Street program, offers groups and individuals a way to enhance their corporate or civic visibility and promote their commitment to the local community. In 2024, 6 groups donated over 250 volunteer hours maintaining parks, roads and a beach.

City Boards and Commissions

Are you dedicated to enriching the lives of each Lake Stevens resident and want to create a welcoming environment where people want to live and play? We invite you to get involved and join a city Board or Commission.

Park and Community Events Volunteer Opportunities

Help us keep our lake and parks healthy and join rewarding recreation projects that give back to your community.  In 2024, 162 volunteers from local schools, churches, and dive teams, gave over 1400 volunteer hours across 11 park and recreation events. That's almost 60 days of volunteer time!

If you have the time, we have the task! Have a new project in mind or want to learn more about park volunteer opportunities, please contact the Parks Department events@lakestevenswa.gov or call 425-622-9406.

Visit our registration platform for volunteer project details and register under the Volunteer Opportunities tab.

When attending volunteer days, please dress for the weather and bring work gloves, personal small tools, and water.
