Lake Stevens Police Department 2025 Citizens' Academy

Come and learn what your police department does to help make the City of Lake Stevens a great place to live and work. The 2025 Citizens’ Academy will be a 9-week course starting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. 

A background check is required for all participants. The deadline to apply is Monday, September 15, 2025. Classes are held at the Lake Stevens Police Department Training Center located at 1825 South Lake Stevens Road.

We will have classes on DUI, Emergency Vehicle Operation, School Resource Officers, Domestic Violence, Patrol Procedures, Use of Force, Criminal Prosecution, Mock Scenes, Records, and more.
