Applications must be submitted online, include all required attachments and be filled out completely - even if you’re attaching a resume.

Hiring Process

We want to be sure you’re in the loop once your application has been submitted. In most cases, 7-10 days may pass between the closing date of a position and the interview. Some positions generate significant numbers of applications, so timeframes are approximate. We ask that you be patient during this important process; the City is dedicated to thoroughly reviewing and considering all applications. All applicants will be notified of whether or not they've been invited to participate in an interview.

Pre-Employment & Background Checks

Background checks are conducted on all applicants who are selected to continue in the application process. Job offers for employment for certain physically demanding positions will be conditioned on satisfactory results of a medical examination or inquiry.
