Algae Advisory - January 26, 2026

Latest News Posted on January 26, 2026

Due to increased algae activity, the City of Lake Stevens is advising a “when in doubt, stay out” approach at Davies Beach and along the western shores of Lake Stevens. Some algae can be harmful to people and pets. If water looks scummy, discolored, or has a strong odor, avoid contact. The city will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as available. Thank you for your patience.
