My wife used to commute to south Snohomish County about 17 miles from where we live here in Lake Stevens. In 2014 it used to take her about 45 minutes to get there. Within a two years that commute turn into an hour to an hour and a half. That's a three hour impact on my family just to get 70 miles to work and 17 miles back. My son was delayed getting to school 32 times last year (when I stopped counting) just to get to the middle school and it’s just two miles from my house.
