I live on South Lake Stevens Rd. on the west side of HWY9. Since the backup on 20th St. has gotten so bad, people are using my road as a bypass. Most go to Bickford via the Powerline road. I have sat at the end of my driveway too often waiting for up to 20 cars at a time to pass. Some take it way too fast. If this is a sample of what the other backroads will be like after the toll goes into affect, no one will want to stay here. I have to give myself an hour for a 9 mile commute just because of the gamble the trestle is. All this has really diminished our quality of life we use to have in this nice community we used to live in.
