The City of Lake Stevens is seeking to fill a vacancy on:
PLANNING COMMISSION – ONE MID-TERM VACANCY with a term expiring 12/31/2027:
The use and development of land in Lake Stevens affect every resident. As a member of the Planning Commission, you can directly impact the planning process by advising the City Council on topics such as codes, land use & zoning, and effects on traffic and public safety as a result of such measures. The Planning Commission meets the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m., with an optional meeting on the third Wednesday.
The Mayor and Council may appoint a member who resides or owns property within the City or the City’s urban growth area. At least four members shall be residents of the City. The members of the Planning Commission shall serve without compensation.
