[ARCHIVED] A Message From Mayor Gailey

Brett Gailey

As the Governor enacts additional four-week restrictions due to the rising COVID-19 case numbers, I am concerned about the well-being of our local small businesses and their employees.

The city of Lake Stevens is in its third Cares Act Grant process getting additional money out to our small businesses.  The Governor said he is looking to push out an additional $50 million in small business support which I will lobby to get out quickly.

The support of our small businesses by our community has made a difference in keeping them afloat during these difficult times.  As I speak to our small business owners, this support is greatly appreciated.

I am proud of the Lake Stevens community and the resiliency it is showing.  Keep up the support, service, and assistance to your family, friends, and neighbors.

Brett Gailey, Mayor
