Nighttime flagging at SR 204 and 91st Avenue NE intersection scheduled next several weeks in Lake Stevens

Flaggers will direct nighttime travelers through the State Route 204 intersection with 91st Avenue NE in Lake Stevens over the next several weeks beginning Monday, November 18, 2024.

People traveling through the area should watch for flaggers directing traffic through the intersection from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am nightly Monday, November 18, 2024, until Friday morning, November 22, 2024. Work is scheduled to continue at the same times Monday and Tuesday nights the following three weeks and should finish by Wednesday morning, December 11, 2024.

The nighttime traffic control will allow contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to install sidewalk curb ramps and crosswalks along 91st Avenue NE that meet Americans with Disabilities guidelines. This work will wrap up major construction on the SR 9/SR 204 Intersection Improvements project.
