UPDATE 8/1/2021 - The 2021 Lake Stevens Farmers Market summer season will end early, on August 25, 2021. Please click here to read the City's statement.
Wednesday, June 2 was the first day of the Lake Stevens Farmers Market 2021 season! It was a great success but with limited parking due to North Cove Park Expansion's Phase 3 construction of the festival street, Mill Spur. As a result, the City will be closing a portion of Main Street to support the market and maintain the safety of the community enjoying the park, as pedestrian and vehicular traffic increases in the area.
Beginning this market Wednesday, June 9, and every Wednesday through September 29, 2021, from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., a portion of Main Street, from the north corner of 18th St. NE (the Lake Stevens post office) to near the south corner of N. Lakeshore Drive, will be closed. Only market vendors will be allowed to drive through the barrier to load/unload in front of The Mill for market opening and closing. No other traffic will be allowed through during these hours.
- There is still Main Street access to the Jay's Market plaza and City Hall; barriers will begin at the crosswalk in front of Jay's Market/The Mill.
- From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., the parking lot at City Hall will be closed and access limited to those conducting business at City Hall for permit needs and market vendor unloading. There will be signage and persons on-site directing the traffic flow.
- The market's food truck vendors will be parked in the closed section of Main Street.
The City thanks the community for its continued patience and support of our local businesses as we expand downtown Lake Stevens around North Cove Park. The construction of Mill Spur will allow for more downtown parking and greater accessibility for community events like the Lake Stevens Farmers Market.
