UPDATE 8/19/21 - Applications for the Salary Commission are still needed.

The City is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Salary Commission; this position is a mid-term vacancy.  

The Salary Commission establishes salaries of elected officials on realistic standards so that elected officials are paid in accordance with their duties and so that citizens of the highest quality are attracted to public service. 

The Library Board works with Sno-Isle Regional Library System in providing services to the Lake Stevens citizenry. 

Members of the City’s boards and commissions serve without compensation and must be city residents or reside within the urban growth area.
