The City is seeking to fill vacancies on the Veterans Commission, Park Board, and Salary Commission.   

• The Veterans Commission meets monthly and represents the U.S. military veteran constituency in the Lake Stevens community and works to provide support and opportunities to veterans and their families within the community. 
• The Park Board meets monthly and is the principal planning advisory body for all matters relating to parks and the provision of recreation services.
• The Salary Commission meets annually (usually between September - December) to study and establish the salaries of elected officials.

Members of the City’s boards and commissions serve without compensation and must be city residents or reside within the urban growth area.
