The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has scheduled an emergency full closure of State Route 92 to begin tomorrow morning, Thursday, December 8, to allow their maintenance crews to remove two trees that are falling over the road.
The road will close, eastbound and westbound, between Lake Drive (milepost 0.17) and 99th Ave NE (milepost 0.55). The closure will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon. If crews complete their work early, the road will reopen early.
Please drive carefully and follow detour signs; a signed detour is in place, encouraging traffic to use 84th St NE as the alternate route.
If you have any general questions about the closure information, please contact Sean Quinn, the WSDOT public information officer for Snohomish and Skagit counties, at (206) 375-0582.
