Candidate filing will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15 for the 2023 ballot. Anyone interested in running for an office needs to file with Snohomish County Elections during the week of May 15-19, 2023. A complete list of offices up for election can be found at: Scheduled Races.

- Email – Send a Declaration of Candidacy to candidates@snoco.org during the open period
- Fax – Send a Declaration of Candidacy to 425-355-3444 during the open period
- In Person – File at Snohomish County Elections during business hours (see address below)
