[ARCHIVED] The City Implements A New Community Advisory Council

Community Advisory Council diverse hands

At the May 25 Council Meeting, Mayor Gailey implemented a new Community Advisory Council (CAC). Its purpose will be to help the City strengthen its relationship with diverse community groups and be more inclusive in policy decisions.

The City is looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds including work experience, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, gender, physical and mental abilities, national origin, minimal English language proficiency, age, and neighborhood residency. 

Interested parties will be able to apply through an application on the City’s website.  An interview may be required in addition to the application. The deadline for applications will be Friday, June 30.  Follow the links below for more information:
